About Us

TAG Saber BS/MD is an innovative and accelerated pathway designed specifically for gifted high school graduates in the United States aiming to fast-track their way into the medical profession. Our unique program compresses a traditional 8-year medical training pathway into an intensive 6-year journey, leading to both Bachelor of Science (BS) and Doctor of Medicine (MD) degrees. This distinctive structure is tailored for the brightest minds who are ready to embark on their medical careers at an accelerated pace.

Program Structure

Phase 1: Online Premedical Foundation (Years 1-2)

Start your journey with two years of online coursework from the comfort of your home. This phase is designed to build a solid premedical foundation, covering all necessary prerequisites for medical school. During this period, students will also prepare for and take the Medical College Admission Test (MCAT), marking their first major milestone towards a career in medicine.

Phase 2: International Immersion in the Caribbean (Years 3-4)

As part of our global perspective on medical education, students will then spend two years at our partner institutions in the Caribbean. This phase focuses on in-depth medical sciences and clinical skills preparation, setting the stage for their USMLE Step 1 exam. Successful completion of this phase not only enriches students' medical knowledge but also their cultural competencies and global medical understanding.

Phase 3: Clinical Rotations in US Hospitals (Years 5-6)

The final leg of the program involves hands-on clinical rotations across various specialties in hospitals within the United States. Here, students apply their learned knowledge in real-world medical settings, Complete core and elective rotations and prepare for the USMLE Step 2 exam. This crucial phase ensures students are well-prepared for residency and beyond.

Preparatory Course

Before diving into the premed curriculum, TAG Saber offers a comprehensive 10-week online preparatory course. This course is meticulously designed to equip students with the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in the accelerated program.

Students will have the opportunity to study in the beautiful Caribbean during their first 2 years of basic sciences, gaining invaluable hands-on experience.

The final two years of our program are dedicated to clinical rotations at renowned US hospitals, preparing students for residency.
